What Information Is Collected And How Is It Used?

Information is collected from users in the following areas of this site:

  1. Registration: Information is collected from visitors when they register to receive a free copy of Integration Marketing, an ebook by Mark Joyner. In order to receive the ebook, visitors are required to provide their name and their email address. This information is used to:
    • deliver the free ebook Integration Marketing to the visitor; and
       
    • assign the visitor with an Associate ID, which they can use when referring friends to www.integrationmarketing.com (for more information see "Tell A Friend" below)

    • to update the visitor about this website and provide content related to Integration Marketing.
  2. Support Desk: Information such as name and email address is required when a visitor submits a query to the Integration Marketing support desk.  This information is required so that the customer care team may respond to that query, and the visitor may track the progress of their complaint online. The information collected is used solely for purpose of resolving the visitor's complaint or query.
     
  3. Tell a Friend: When visitors sign up to receive the ebook titled Integration Marketing, we present them with the option of telling their friends about Integration Marketing. If the visitor elects to use the TAF tool provided for passing on an invitation to our web site, we ask the referrer for their friend’s name and email address for the purpose of sending the friend a one-time email containing a link to our web site. The communication sent to the friend includes an explanation of how the friend came to receive the email and a link to our support desk if they have any concerns. Mark Joyner, Inc stores the information collected via this tool on a log file, but does not use it for any purpose other than to send this one-time invitation. The visitor is not obligated to tell any friends about Integration Marketing.

Associate Program

All visitors who register to receive a copy of Integration Marketing, are assigned an Associate ID obtained from their email address, which they can use to refer others to our website. In addition, any unique friends that they refer via our Tell-A-Friend form becomes parsed with their Associate ID. This means that the visitor can earn a commission on any purchase made by their referred friends at our website. In order to receive commission payments, visitors are requested also to provide us with their PayPal address. Visitors are not obligated to do this or partake in the associate program. We do not provide any other forms of commission payment outside of PayPal.

Communications From This Site

The follow activities at our website will generate an email from us:

  • once registration for a copy of Integration Marketing ebook is completed, the visitor is emailed a link to download the ebook.
  • if the TAF form is completed, the visitor is emailed a link to the TAF freebie (a copy of TAFpro) and a redemption code.
  • if a purchase is made, the visitor is sent a confirmation of their purchase and a URL for access to the product they purchased.
  • following registration, the visitor is emailed login information or confirmation link. To prove that our visitors are genuine owners of the email address provided to us, we will send them a confirmation link to confirm their registration. They will not be able to login to our website without doing this first. If they purchased a product through our website however during their registration, their registration is automatically confirmed.

Discussion Community

This website includes a Discussion Community called the Deal Board. Participation in the Discussion Community is voluntary and participants should be aware that any personally identifiable information voluntarily submitted to the Discussion Community can be read, collected, or used by others, and could be used to send unsolicited messages. Mark Joyner, Inc is not responsible for the personally identifiable information volunteered to this forum.

Community participants may request to be informed of new forum posts. Notifications of new posts are delivered by email to the email address provided by the participant upon their Integration Marketing registration. An unsubscribe function is included in this communication in the event the participant decides they do not wish to receive such notifications any longer. They may also unsubscribe from this service by using the tools located in their community user profile.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser.

In the Discussion Community, persistent cookies are used to enable functions such as showing whether or not a thread or forum you are viewing has received new posts since your last visit, or to automatically log you back in when you return to the site after being away for a while. Correcting/Updating Information

If a member's information, such as email address changes, members can log into the website and edit their information as desired.

Discussion Community profiles can be altered at any time to reflect changes in messaging preferences. To alter your profile, simply log into the Discussion Community and click on “User CP” located on the top-left of the screen.

Log Files

Like most standard web site services, we use log files. The following information is automatically logged by our web site servers upon connection:

  • IP address

  • Time and date stamp

This information is logged beside your account profile in our system and stored for 14 days, after which it is then discarded from our system. It is therefore is linked to your personally identifiable information.

Surveys or Contests

From time-to-time www.integrationmarketing.com may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys.  If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and therefore you have a choice whether or not to disclose this information.  The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name, email and/or shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code). 

We use this information to notify contest winners and award prizes.

We may use a third party service provider to conduct these surveys or contests; that company will be prohibited from using our users’ personally identifiable information for any other purpose. The servers that store your information are located in a secure locked facility.
